Southwest Diesel & Electrical is hiring:

Shipping and Receiving position

As a team member, you will be responsible for all aspects of this position. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Receiving freight (small packages to pallets)
• Tracking orders
• Calling customers
• Invoicing/processing orders
• Preparing packages for shipment (pulling parts)
• Use of shipping software (UPS, FED-EX, Golden State, GHB)
• Work with small parts
• Receiving and evaluating cores to return to manufacturer
• Warranty administration
• Keep inventory organized
• Keep work area clean; sweep and mop as needed
• Keep track of supplies
• Cycle count

Candidate must be able to:

• Push, pull and lift 40lbs
• Be on feet for 8 hours a day
• Work in swamp cooled warehouse
• Be able to drive a forklift or learn
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Demonstrate communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office ie...Word and Excel
• Clean/Insurable driving record
• Must be organized
